Repel, rebel, better cast a spell.My name is Nick Schauer, I'm an LA based Artist who draws his influence from horror elements and body horror such as the movie The Thing. A long time artist of all things monster, horror, sci-fi and the otherworldly, my work is inspired by artists such as Junji Ito, H.R. Giger, and Kentaro Miura.
It is my goal to spread awareness to the struggles of mental health though my art. Having experienced myself the increasing issues of combating mental health issues in a modern society, it is through dark depictions I hope to help show others how to expell their inner demons through art, creativity, and storybuilding. |
