The Realm of Black Mist

Age of Broken Philosophy
The unmapped lands which many have tried to traverse within the Mist; only those with especially strong wills and majket powers are able to find their way back as most fall prey to the whispers in the dark and spend too long wandering the lands only to be turned into Shades; malformed spirits that are used by the factions to be turned into horrendous creatures falling in line with the passions they faced as humans twisted by their new masters.
Those humans that somehow manage to survive for any length of time are hunted down daily by the Kingsmen who the King sends out on hunts, or the dangerous Red Mouths, those that still worship the Red King to be turned into pustules, or the insanity that can be found in the gambling halls where men are forced to do unthinkable things by the Golden Son. There are many inhuman things in unspeakable ways to those captured, death often is a mercy in this land.
As the lands are so hard to traverse for those that are not of Monstrous Origin, often those that survive and travel within the Mist denote their travel based on landmarks and other important sites as there are several imposing features within the land that due to their power do not move often within the plane.

The Citadel
Foci: Denial
The Stronghold of The King, where an army of Gor Angels, Kingsmen, Skull Cherubs and other worshipers of his order reside ruling with an iron fist over all that crave the pretend life of flesh. Marching bands of his men roam the streets, and vast dungeons holding untold horrors as well as treasures reside across the stone faced walls. Galor the Flesh Fiend the General of The King rules the Citadel as the general of his forces. Riding out only to join the Hunt for when the craving of Flesh and Skin is demanded.
Throne Room
Foci: Denial
Nightly revelry can be found in the Throne Room, where Jin the Drunk boasts loudly of the accomplishments of the king, and Babbling Baboons, Drunken Letchers and other craven creatures eat and drink endlessly; as well as their loyalty tested and worship of stolen flesh ensured.
The City of Sin
Foci: Denial/Bargaining
A mess of sprawling huts and rickety buildings, massed close together. Shadows and ally's line the streets and hooded creatures roam; pretending the normal life of a city. This is anything but such a city. Monsters hide their disgusting faces and bodies, pretending at the lives of humans. They await for any chance to earn a spot at the Table of The King in the Throne Room so that they might earn to wear the Flesh of a Human and further deny their truth. Insidious gangs roam, and many of them not just from the Foci Denial; their goals nebulous to any that ask.
Amon Rock
Foci: None
A giant rock that has no monsters that reside besides it; some say it has powerful runes made from expert Journeymen who have braved the Realm of Black Mist. As such it is a place of small rest, in its towering shadow. Those that stay long notice its shape is similar to that of a face. One should be careful of resting too long however as those few Journeymen that do utilize it do not take kindly to others, and worse yet forces such as the Seppuku Militia and other Monsters that can Travel the Journey use the spot.
The Black Fog of Broken Philosophy
Foci: Depression/Reality
Within the Realm of Black Mist floats the ever present Mist itself; now forever entangled with the Realm of Endings as it tries to tear at any that travel within the Plane. Dark horrid creatures and deep dark thoughts make their way into the brains of all but the strongest as you pass through, be wary for the Ghost of the Void Dragon can be found here, ever vengeful on his failed plans.
Butchers Sewers
Foci: Anger
Sprawling filth ridden sewers of the disgusting refuse of the creatures in The City Sin and those less intelligible creatures of the City make their home here; pushed out from The City itself for not being good enough at pretending to be humans. Blood Ichor Angles float doing the will of The King absorbing anything that might enter, and Gurgling Monstrosities lumber in its depths.
The Dreamlands
Foci: Acceptance
A quiet area of floating pollen like shining air. One can easily get lost in this area; however the Sword Maidens, Steam Bugs and many inhabitants of the Foci Acceptance make their home here and can be treated with should they be found and given the proper respect. The powerful Shard of Truth resonates from here as well, and the creatures all do anything to protect it.
Silicon Arena
Foci: Anger/ Bargaining
A Large eerie plastic like arena filled with the patrons of both Foci Anger and Bargaining yell and scream for blood of the combatants that fight daily within. All are welcome as long as all fight. It is here that the Demon Vlad and the Golden Sun visit as primary patrons, feeding from the dead combatants that have lost.
The Laboratory Library
Foci: Depression
A dark dusty catacomb Library; the pages rustling with forbidden desires and wants whispering the names of things long forgotten. To enter is to risk madness, and to learn untold truths. Beware though for it is known that those that enter often are turned into the books themselves as they are created by the Duke of Scrolls, the halls stalked with Monstrous Vindictive Sorrows and Phantom Fears.
Dukes Grove
Foci: Anger
A huge hedge maze with a perfectly tailored mason resides seemingly empty. However tread carefully for the Duke of Scrolls resides here; and if he should find any humans he strips them of their flesh and turns them into the books that go in the Laboratory Library, only the most cautious seek his counsel for he resides alone for fear of his power.
The Crones House
Foci: Bargaining
The Lady Lavivan can be found here a powerful creature capable of the hardest divinations, however she only offers to those willing to work for their trade; and as such one must be careful of the deals they make with her.
Horticulture Cave
Foci: None
The Cave lies numerous warding herbs and sweet smelling flowers often replaced by monsters of Acceptance. It was said to be the last resting place of Ghast’s companion Ide, and thus protected for those rare humans that risk the Black Mist. As such the Heart Shard Monsters of Acceptance routinely protect it from outside influences.
Wyvern Tunnels
Foci: Anger
Strange worming tunnels leading to Pustule Hell, a confusing Maze filled with Foci Anger Monsters, Ragers, Frothing Blood and Anger Sprites. The Tunnels ranging from five foot tunnels to giant sixty foot black holes covered in moss and dead carcasses from the long lost history of the war on Hell. It is here in the tunnels that the Brutal Beast Aragh makes his home, for it is he that makes any new tunnels and eternally hungers.
Pustule Hell
Foci: Anger
In the dark deeps, heated magma and hellish mountains rise in mocking parody of the biblical descriptions of hell filled with Monsters of the Foci Anger, primarily the Polyp, Jailed Demiog’s, Gapping Monstrosities, and other such things and deep underground a frozen lake can be found in which frozen underneath sleeps The Red King, both dead and alive, killed and unkilled ruler of the desolate hell, his whispers heard from the corner of any that feel the burning rage of vengeance.
The Grand Summoning Circle
Foci: Anger
The Anger Avatar Durat focuses forces of Foci Anger here; under the strict guidance of the Pleasure Priestess Val they constantly empowering forces of those that follow the worship of The Red King in the never ending war to enter the Plane of Reality. Their goal to avenge the undeath of their Red King and the lost war in Hell and those turned into Demons by the Throne.
Errand Marshland
Foci: Depression
A vast swampland filled with sucking depths and darkened skies. It is here that Furies roost picking at those that enter. Even more frightening huge Sinister Sunset Drakes hunt and roost within the marsh; making huge dragon like nests in the muck. If one is fortunate they will run into such creatures and simply be devoured, for there exists a worse fate for those in the Marshland, the meeting of the Wandering Stretched Stranger, known for his horrid tortures.
Delsin Forest
Foci: Depression
An eternally twilight Forest filled with the voices of those long lost. Hanged Men and Vengeful Dead roaming it's dark broughs looking to share their fate with others.
Birthing Pods
Foci: Bargaining
A giant landfill made of trash and other components that seems to attract many Shades that have undecided their Foci. Here Goat Slaves, Rotters, Festering Swarms, and Gambling Vagrants are either tasked with the birth of more Monstrous Creatures from those few flesh Birthing Pods left; or rummage through the heaped mountains of trash, caught in an eternal quest for some unknown item.
The Final Graveyard
Foci: Acceptance/Depression
A mass battlefield that has since been made into that of a graveyard. It is said to be the last battle of humanity resides here and that of key battles with Hell from the times of old. It is currently the mutually agreed on battlefield for the different Foci that spend their time fighting for unknown goals eternally.
Most powerful of these forces are that of The Sucide Knight who commands some few Seppuku Militia, Hanged Men and other Creatures. The Forces of The King can also be found here, an Army of Kingsmen, Gor Angels, Skull Cherubs, Arch Ichor Angels and Masked Mutilators.
The Forces of Anger also make their way here causing chaos, Ragers, Wereblood Hounds, and Frothing Berserkers, The Fiend of Fire leading them in their quest for battle.
From the forces of Acceptance the Creature known as Radcliff the Golem and his general Cyndicat Rebound command a small force of Singing Sword Maidens, Spirit Armours, Seal Protectorates, and Whetstone Sheens to battle for peace.
The Forces of Bargaining often offer their services as Mercenaries; Card Guards, Fem Fatals and Tigerouses can all be bought to help, although at a steep price.
Frozen Summit
Foci: Depression
A Frozen Mountain stalked by The Frozen Husk; a monster that keeps safe the peak of the Summit; it is said there lies a pathway directly to the Realm of Endings, for the trail to reach the top is festering with Phantom Fear Creatures and Vindictive Sorrows, in addition to wandering Forgotten Fools.
The Darkened Spire
Foci: Depression/Denial
It is said that The King can be found here; although the truth of such matter is unknown for it is also said he makes his home now in the Realm of Kings. It is also said that this was where the Void Dragon born and other such important events laced with mystery. None truly know what resides within the jailed walls of the Spire, twisting height-bound stairs and creatures lurking at every doorway is to be sure.
The Gods Lake
Foci: None
The City of Sin and many other of the inhabitants of The Black Mist must contend with the constant infiltration of Reality despite being situated so that the Black Mist constantly eats away from the Realm of Reality due to the trick done by Ghast. As such much of the energy gets drained off carefully from the different factions into the Gods Lake; a giant lake made of Reality itself.
Fairy Mounds
Foci: Acceptance
It is here that the powerful Creature Reflected Face holds council with his Priests of One Word; allowing those that show proper respect into their Fairy Circle to hear the stories of old and receive council in the hopes of converting more to Ruined Accepted. The Clocked Clothes gently float on the sweet smelling winds in the Fairy Mounds and peaceful Ruined Accepted breakfast waiting for any that wish to join.
Feeding Grounds
Foci Anger/Denial
Hungry Creatures rut and fight in these fields; the unintelligible Tentacle Gimps, and Rack monsters fighting over scraps of Shades and flesh with Gurgling Masses, and Misshappened.
Crystal Cove
Foci: Acceptance
A secluded Cove a pool of crystal stretching into the distance made of shining reflections. The Heart Shards call the Cove their home and are protected by Sanrall the Mirror and his Eyes of Revel that serve him.
Stitched Field
Foci: Depression
A swollen field of flesh crawling with the monstrous maggots of death. The postulate oozing landscape is one filled with horrific scenes of decay and rot, rivers of untended blood ichor creating rivers and ponds. From the dank seams crawl out vapers of Reality, causing pox like corruption across the fleshy fields. The seams of the flesh Majket only barely containing the miasma from entering.
Humanity's Last Vestige
Foci: None
A battle hardened encampment, part town part fortress resides here. They have mostly at this point claimed allegiance to the forces of Reality as they have had no protection from its influence, and many of those that reside here are Sinners or Karquan. As such the Sin Monsters Creatures of Reality Harm Harems, Cannibals, Elblis, Furcifers and others are used as slaves for the powerful humans. Their goals are different than that of the Elders of the Journey, Sons of Antiquity, or the Mercenary Journeymens. For Humanity’s Last Vestige is made of individuals who wish to hold on to the land they have and unwilling to return to Putlog.
Vagrant Villages
Foci: Bargaining
The Home for Vagrant Gamblers and Money Hors, a loose series of Villages who trade with others and are known to make trips into The Journey itself. The leader of this loose federation of towns is Vagar the Despicable; who leads the villages in keeping themselves safe by controlling the Fettered Mists that surround the villages.
Debased Casino
Foci: Bargaining
A lavish Casino complex, on a large bluff, the size of which matches the City of Sin itself, where creatures of all kinds go to sate their addictions and cravings. Royal the Jackpot ownd all that reside within and all pay homage to the masters of Coin and Pleasure; for to displease him is to be faced with a force of Card Guards, Charmed Spirits, Fem Fatals and Addicted Socialites who call them their master.
The Courtroom
Foci: Denial
The law of the City of Sin and all surrounding The Citadel are enforced with Iron, as such the current ruler of those who worship The King, Faceless Maleficent judges all brought before him in The Courtroom, along with a Troupe of Masked Mutilators and the hedonism of the seating crowds of Denial Monsters who use the Court proceedings as perverse entertainment.
Fettered Mist
Foci: Reality
A controlled part of the Black Mist that has been chained to the will of the Village of Vagrants, using the inherent Reality within Black Mist they have created a defense against all Monsters that may try and find their otherwise defenseless villages.
