Freeing of the Black Mantle
24,141 B.R. - 24,147 B.R.
Bronze Age of Realms
After being crowned King the Knight Valdik invaded the far northern lands across the sea for revenge over the invasion of his home country of Red Akhet. He fought a long and bloody campaign of utter annihilation of the northern Kingdom of the Moon for the destruction and occupation of his own lands. After the year long siege at the capital of Crescent, King Valdik otherwise known as the Crimson King, stormed the castle and freed the Black Mantle who had been imprisoned and experimented on by the fearful and jealous tribes. Though weak and insane from the ordeal of centuries of torture, the Black Mantle pledged undying loyalty to the Crimson King and his quest for the destruction of the human gods. It is rumored that many of the rituals and experiments were taught to Valdik so that his eventual ascendance and corruption furthered the Black Mantles own goals in the Constructed Realm.
