The Rise of the Shadow Empire

The Age of Broken Philosophy
When the Void Dragon was born he usurped the powers of the foci of depression, and began his quest for the conclusion of the Black Mists goals: five powers, absorbed by the Black Mist at their Apex, ready for the birth of the Titans. The absorption of monsters from the Realm of Black Mist lead to those remaining monsters that had not fled becoming more and more powerful as the Mist saturated their forms due to the Tearing of the Planes.
It was with this insight (from absorbing The King, who had been the foci of denial) that The Fist turned into the Void Dragon and was the first being to create a JimSaw: a rudimentary replica part of the all-powerful Throne. With this power he gathered all the forces of the foci of depression—allying the creatures of the night in the Frozen Peaks and wastelands to create the Shadow Empire.
The Mistress Hel would be the first to devote herself to his cause and his war against the realm, and as their forces grew from the knowledge that the Void Dragon was the first to truly find a way to recreate The Throne, others would join in hopes of finding revenge or pursuing their own goals. The Shadow Blade Kahlil notably would devote the whole Seppuku Militia forces to finding the necessary foci points, acting as a strike force for the Void Dragon so that he could absorb them into the JimSaw; creating the necessary energies for the recreation of The Throne.
As the Void Dragon’s influence grew, so did his plans. Slowly, all the inhabitants of the Realm of Black Mist and even Putlog would either escape into The Journey and The Realm of Roads, or, slowly join The Shadow Empire. The Void Dragon absorbed all; even his own forces. His process and goal becoming apparent to his empire: not to recreate The Throne for the purposes of his empire, but to create a new realm in which all things would be consumed into what would be called the Plane of Endings, which would devour itself once everything else had been absorbed into it. To do so would mean that the Realm of Mist must finally come to its realized form of devouring all remaining shreds of The Plane of Reality, and condensing its pupa form into the five main foci which would become the six Titans. Here, The Void Dragons allies deserted him, with those remaining devoted only disagreeing with the Void Dragon on The Ending that the different realms deserved.
This led to the Shadow Empire’s plans being cut short during the Void Dragons final battle with Ghast and his small band of friends. Ghast would perfect the utilization of JimSaw and the realization of The Throne with the death of his human companion Ida; and defeating the Void Dragons Foci of Depression with his own of Acceptance. Ghast would then use the powers to create the Plane of Endings, however doing so before the Titans fully formed, via the devouring of reality, thus creating an imperfect loop for the denizens of The Journey to survive to create the Realm of Roads.
Additionally, cutting off the Plane of Black Mist from Reality—via the creation of the Plane of the Old Dream(Dead Dream)—caused the Titans to be improperly birthed, so that the Plane of Endings could not properly end all other realities until a new throne was made. This would end the Shadow Empire; however, many are devoted still to ending all realities into the Plane of Endings, and exist in eager anticipation for destiny to be realized (though they may disagree on the manner of how the realms should end). These include Hel, The Frozen Husk, and Shadow Blade Kahlil whose forces had escaped, and along with many from the Shadow Empire whose foci was depression, still existing within the newly imperfectly created Plane of Endings.
