The Kurlik Confederation
Governmental Reign: 7,892 P.B. - 10,360 P.B.
(Period of Beginnings)
History of Governance
After the White Mantle Truth was jailed as stipulated in the Mantle's treaty with the Progenitors who followed of the Court of the Queen, the Kurlik were given free reign of their own governance as the other Mantles, Red, Black, Green and Brown all broke away to work on their own personal projects. Only did the Brown Mantle Grower and the Red Mantle Taker make visits to their worlds on a semi-regular basis.
As such the Kurlik Confederation was birthed from the main five tribes of Kurlik; following a loose system of allied worlds where Kurlik joined a Caste based off of the specific Mantle they followed in belief. Spreading rapidly and with impudence, they used the technology taught by the Mantles to Terra-forming hundreds of worlds, their government spreading across the stars.
Soon the Kurlik Confederacy had grown to such a degree that their numbers were near countless; their discontent growing with their place in life and the tribe Kuli-Kalth were voted in as the new head of tribal control after several different tribes had failed to address the growing discontent. It would be during this period that the Kurli-Kaheth tribe would declare war in the year 8,158 P.B. on the Mantles; seeking a new war to test the tribes of the Kurlik against. This war would burn through many of the newly colonized worlds; and the Kurlik would during this period create the Realm of Trials, a space allowing access to multiple different Planes of Existence as well as where Kurlik tested themselves to become some of the most feared warriors the Mantles have ever known.
It would be only the truth found from the Peace of Green in the year 9,025 P.B. that the Confederation found a new meaning; and with the treaty the Kurli-Kaheth would be allowed to join those Kurlik who had already joined the Progenitors in The New Dream, while the rest of the tribes slowly lived out their lives on their planets tending to the worlds they lived on. The Confederacy would slowly break down from there fully breaking down in the year 10,360 P.B.; each Tribe slowly losing contact with each other and many of the larger populations growing smaller as the inborn battle hunger was tempered by the absorption of the Brown Mantle Grower took its effect in the finding of new found harmonies.

Tribes of the Confederation
Each Tribe had equal parts representation within the Confederation; as the Khrans would meet in councils debating the politics and subject matters for each tribe. Each Khran holding the place of representation of a large majority of their tribe. Unlike later Kurlik culture, as a race bred for war, much of the resolutions made by the leaders of the Confederation were decided by duels and combat. Kurlik's at this time instead of a mutual competition to improve all members of the race, saw their battles as way of domination over one another; to gain power or control within the various tribes.
This warrior like mentality, seeking battle and combat, lead to their rapid expansion and usage of Maze Worlds and Relic usage, as their government rapidly spread across the newly seeded worlds of the Realm of the Construct. Soon their populations grew to such numbers that a Tribe was rotational voted into power by the Khrans; given finial power on decisions of the tribal Khrans.

Tribe Kurli-Naarn
Followers of the Brown Mantle Grower; these tribe members were exceptional rangers, scouts and resource gatherers. The bulk of the work force consisted on the Tribe Kali-Naarn and they were known for being the least war like of the tribes before the Treaty of Green. Maintenance of many of the huge Hive Cities that grew in the Confederacies rule were due to the expert management of Kurli-Naarn tribal Khrans, and their members boasted some of the more advanced social edicts. The Tribe would be one of enforcers of the Peace of Green after it was signed and new Technology limits were placed on the tribes to enforce the slow breakage of the Confederacy.

Tribe Kali-Galin
Followers of the Green Mantle Secrets, they were before Vat Priests in charge of the manufacturing of new Kurlik as well as their vastly complex relic creation and secrets of the Maze Worlds used to build the Realm of Trials. These masters of construct were given many of the secrets of the Mantles, Vats and Majkets used for the creation of Progenitor Relic creation. Builders of the Confederation's vast array of capital ships and crosier fleets during the peak of their rule.
At the time of the Peace of Green, most Kurli-Galin tribe members followed the laws laid out in the Treaty; however it is suspected that many choose to place themselves within the Realm of Trials secretly to continue following the unknown commands of the Green Mantle Secrets. Sightings more recently in the Age of Convergence are rumored in the Ra'ul Territory but such claims are met mostly with disbelief.

Tribe Kurli-Kaheth
The Kurli-Kaheth or those of the Kurlik that had followed the White Mantle Truth during the Mantle Civil War but had been given amnesty by the Mantles for the actions of the White Mantle Truth. They more than any other of the many cultures of the Kurlik raised voice of hate towards the Mantles. Using the unstable growth and conflict from within the Confederacy, the would lead to the Kurli-Kaheth Tribe gaining control over the government and would lead to the war between the Kurlik and Mantles.
When the war ended the Tribe would not join with the rest of the other Kurlik Tribes in excepting the Peace of Green as well as gaining the essence of the Brown Mantle Grower. They were allowed to join those Kurlik that during the New War of Progenitors who had chosen to stay under the rule of the Court of the Queen becoming known as the race Kurlith.

Tribe Kurli-Daine
Those Kurlik that followed the ways of the Black Mantle Giver; these Battle Mages were taught the old ways of using Progenitor Majkets. Mystics and Seers, the Kurli-Daine worked as leaders and planners of the confederacy and in times of war Casters of Majket against the enemies of the Confederacy. Assisting in the empowerment of many of the creations made by Tribe Kurli-Galin, they were also given charge as a Tribe the formation of habitable planets for the quickly growing Kurlik population.
Key to the combats that were fought while in the New Dream both against the Mantles and Court of the Queen, members of the Tribe Kurli-Daine followed in their masters Black Mantle Giver's philosophy of experimentation on the majket energies they loosely controlled and devised many of the Trials within the Realm of Trials. Additionally the Tribe were the expert pilots of most of the ships within the Confederacies fleets; their minds tied through the Bio-web directly to the engines of their ships.

Tribe Kurli-Taltin
Those that follow the Red Mantle Taker; the single combat experts of the Confederacy. Trainers and drill instructors for newly birthed Kurlik; the Kurli-Taltin kept the peace within the massive cities of the Confederacy. Known for their brutality, the tribe policed with extreme disregard for the well being of other tribes. While in battle however the Tribe acted as the hands on medics and support caste for those fighting against the enemies of the Confederacy.
Many of the tribe Kurli-Taltin were some of the first to become known as the later named Beserker Caste; and while any Tribe could become a Kurlik Beserker; the Kurli-Taltin purposely chose that route more often then others. Taking only close-combat weapons, members of the tribe were superb gladiatorial combatants either for sport in the massive Dueling complexes used for entertainment across the Confederacy, or in battle when dueling a fierce opponent. The Tribe would assist in enforcing the Peace of Green alongside the Tribe Kurli-Naarn; putting down their weapons in the name of peace.
