The Kurlik Mantle War
8,158 P.B. - 9,025 P.B.
Period of Beginnings

After an extended reign of the Kurlik in which they expanded across billions of worlds, their race numbers expanding across the stars. Soon the Kurlik people grew discontent, and unhappy with merely exploring. For their lives were much shorter than that of the Mantles who now spent their time crossing the stars seeding new life or otherwise engrossed in their own projects. As the rest of space slowly grew naturally the Kurlik society fractured and bulged contrasting with conflict within the fabric of their  society having been bred for war over the new found peace and exploration as well as devotion to culture.

The Kurli-Kaheth or those of the Kurlik that had followed the White Mantle Truth during the White Mantle War but had been forgiven, were soon growing in voice over all the governments of the Kurlik. They more than any other of the many cultures of the Kurlik raised voice of hate towards the Mantles. Especially as the Kurlik's use of the Immaterial grew, so did parts of the Constructed Reality crack and break from to obvious a use of Majket, as their use of it frayed at the very fabric of the Realm of Construct, and broke apart at the fabrics much like The Dead Dream had.

Soon the War drums sounded and fleets of the now united Kurlik took to the skies to invade into the Realm of the New Dream. Powerful war fleets warped into the worlds of the Mantles wreaking havoc and trying to break through into the other planes via the construction of the Realm of Trials and destruction of core pillars of the Constructed Reality, the Maze Worlds. The Mantles knowing that their Realm was dependent on the Kurlik staying within the realm as well as fearing that they might attract the much feared forces from the Realm of Endings in addition the knowledge of how powerful the Kurlik had become spurred them to respond. Additional further research from the Green Mantle Secrets revealed that even more dangerous forces would be attracted to the Kurlik due to their birth from The New Dream from the body of a Titan, and by exiting the Realm of the Construct that was their home would destabilize much of  the protective Constructed Realm that the Realm is made from.
The Mantles fought back fiercely; expending numerous Relic and World Maze resources to stop the Kurlik, both sides burning the realm to ash and soot in the wake of war. The Mantles breaking their forms into countless forms to battle the Kurlik as they knew the true way to kill the Mantles. After a bitter stalemate in which Kurlik were all too happy to continue as the worlds around them convulsed, the Mantles finally forced a resolution after the Brown Mantle Grower learned the Kurlik’s true goal only lay in finding purpose. It was through the reveal of the need to keep Kurlik within the Realm of the Construct to keep from all being destroyed did the Kurlik agree on ending their war in exchange for the Mantles going to sleep forever, thus allowing the Kurlik memory to over the centuries of their own history to erode and to keep them from ever relearning it.

The Brown Mantle Grower so impressed with the grace of the Kurlik gave them what they so desired, a larger purpose; splitting his very essence into the very souls of the Kurlik as the new guardians of the Realm. The other Mantles, The Green Mantle Secrets and the Red Mantle Taker both followed through on their word and split their essence into different Maze Worlds just as they had with the White Mantle so that they might be awakened when the time needed from their sleep. The last Mantle was not so impressed; The Black Mantle Giver did not follow through on his word, for he harbored resentment at the Mantle’s loss at their hands, instead leaving the Kurlik with a dire prophecy and leaving in exile into the deep of space to continue his own plans.
